Firefox 3: I’m convinced

I’m a complete Firefox fanboy. There’s so many plugins that I couldn’t be without that I’m wedded to the browser.

However, there’s always been one thing about Safari that has made me want to change browsers: when you save an image by dragging it out of the window (something I do often while browsing ConceptArt.org), a transparent copy of the image attached to your cursor. In Firefox, you’re stuck with a border showing the size of the image and nothing more. Nowhere near as satisfying.

Transparent Dragging

But fret no longer! Today I decided to give the new Firefox 3 Beta 2 a shot. And my dreams have come true! Transparent image dragging in Firefox! It may seem frivolous but it makes me feel good inside.
